The reason Rooney absent when Manchester United against Blackburn


MANCHESTER - The issue strikes a name from the list the name of Wayne Rooney Manchester United (MU) ahead of the game against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday (31/12/2011), was finally revealed. Rooney not included in the game because of injury, not due to indiscipline.

Rooney's name is not listed in the squad when United lost 2-3 from Blackburn. Some British media speculated, Rooney's name was dropped due to disciplinary action. Rooney reportedly partying and drunk with Darren Gibson and Jonny Evans before the game.

However, this statement directly contradicted the MU. In his official website, Ferguson explains that Rooney does not fit the conditions.

"Wayne did not practice well this week. He missed a few days and we hope he will practice today, tomorrow, and on Wednesday he would be fine. There is little tension here and there," said Ferguson.
